Stone sculpture allows me to express the poetry of rhythms, shapes and movements that I find in flora. From grain, to a blade of grass, to trees and the forest, I try to convey the delicacy and beauty of the most unique forms of life. I frequently incorporate elements extracted from vegetation into my sculptures made of pure and sensual lines, sometimes with repetitions of forms found in nature.
I use different mediums that allow me to draw upon the various nuances of beauty and fragility of our ecosystems.
My work is a call. A soft, silent call, that is a subtle expression of the quiver felt as a lone, introspective soul roams through the grand, majestic Nordic spaces with a growing anxiety in the face of its possible destruction.
